Nicolas Collins (born March 26, 1954 in New York City) has been composing and performing since the early 1970s. He studied composition with Alvin Lucier at Wesleyan University (received both B.A. and M.A. there) and worked for several years with David Tudor.

Recently I just learned that Charles Dodge is the pioneer in sonification and his music piece Earth’s Magnetc Field is inspiring.

Paul Lansky (born 1944) is an American composer, pioneering sound synthesis with computers since the mid-1960s. After 2004, he concentrated on instrumental composition without any electronic involvement.

Karlheinz Stockhausen (22 August 1928 – 5 December 2007) was a German composer, best known for his innovation in electronic music, for introducing controlled chance into serial composition, and for musical spatialization.
